2nd Annual Strong Man/Woman Competition

8:30 a.m. start

Two Classes Two Classes For the Men

Class A and Class B


Class A 8 events

1. Incline Bench Press Challenge...You Choose your Weight.... 185,225, 275. Three Reps...Strict form

2. Sitting Axle Lift From A Power Rack. 2.5 inch Bar... Tires on each side. You call the weight.. 110, 135,185...3 Reps

3. Farmers Walk..120 pound bells ...you make the call on how much you want for weight. 2-4-6 45 pound plates on each bell.

4. Tire Flip...I'm Guessing 600-650 Pound Tire..4 Flips..2 flips direction..2 Flips The Other Direction

5. 3 Natural Stone Lift and Carry And Set Down. All Natural Stones Must be Set Down...not dropped. Stone weights 168,135,125 pounds.

5. Sled Arm Pull. Weight Sled Pulled Hand Over Hand while sitting down. Stones in the sled. 350-400 pounds of rock.

6. Suit Case Dead Lift. Double Bar Exact Weight on each Bar...Lift up and Set Down. 135, or 185, or 225 pounds each bar

7. Mystery Test Of Strength Event

8. Pull Up Challenge...Higher Number the harder it is....1,2, or 3 number. 1 is the hardest.


Class B 8 Events

1. Incline Bench Press Challenge...You Choose your Weight.... 135, 175, 185. Three Reps...Strict form

2. Sitting Axle Lift From A Power Rack. 2.5 inch Bar... Tires on each side. You call the weight.. 85, 90, 110 ...3 Reps

3. Farmers Walk..120 pound bells ...you make the call on how much you want for weight. No weight or 2 (45 ) pound plates.

4. Tire Flip...I'm Guessing 600-650 Pound Tire..4 Flips..2 flips direction..2 Flips The Other Direction

3. Farmers Walk..120 pound bells ...you make the call on how much you want for weight. Bell with no weight or 2 (45 ) pound plates.

4. Tire Flip...I'm Guessing 150-250 Pound Tire..4 Flips..2 flips direction..2 Flips The Other Direction

2. Sitting Axle Lift From A Power Rack. 2.5 inch Bar... Tires on each side. Bar plus tires...3 Reps

3. Farmers Walk..45 or 55 pound bells ...you make the call on how much you want for weight.

4. Tire Flip...I'm Guessing 200-250 Pound Tire..4 Flips..2 flips direction..2 Flips The Other Direction

5. 3 Natural Stone Lift and Carry And Set Down. All Natural Stones Must be Set Down...not dropped. Stones weight 70, 85, 90 pounds.

5. Sled Arm Pull. Weight Sled Pulled Hand Over Hand while sitting down. Stones in the sled. 150-200 pounds of rock.

6. Suit Case Dead Lift. Double Bar Exact Weight on each Bar...Lift up and Set Down. 65, 70,75 pounds each bar

You Can Do This Event

Anyone and everyone can compete in Dungeon;s Gym 2nd Annual Indoor Frostbite

Strong Man/Woman Competition on Feb. 18, 2012


Things to remember:


  1. You don’t have to weigh 300 pounds. Most of the athletes who compete in our Strong Man/Woman events are people just like you. They are looking for a challenge and something different to train and compete in.
  2. You don’t have to scream a lot. If you want to scream.... scream...if you don’t want to scream... don’t. If you feel the need to grunt...GRUNT! Screaming and grunting has been proven to give extra bursts of adrenaline as it pushes your body to do more than you think possible.
  3. You don’t have to train 15 hours a day for this event. Train with the idea that power is needed and cardio conditioning is a must. If you have been training in the gym for strength, power and cardio you can do this.
  4. You don’t have to be training for years do this event. It is for fun. Age and weight classes will apply. Most of the time there is one or two in each class. Come for the fun, fellowship, and the workout.
  5. I can’t do this..I’m to old. Most of the athletes in the women classes are in their 40s and 50s. The men are in their 30s. 40s, and 50s. So you can compete.
  6. I’m afraid people will laugh if I can’t lift an object. Don’t worry no one will laugh. You will see everyone will cheer you on. Everyone can lift and do the events.
  7. No you are not insane to do this. Your friends will see you as a hero. Just think how happy you will be winning your first Strong Man/Woman trophy.



The women in the Strong Woman class are usually 5 foot 4 inches tall and around 125 pounds on average. Some of course are lighter and a few are heavier. But my point is you can do this.


The men in the Strong Man class are usually 5 foot 10 inches tall and around 198 pounds. Some of course are taller and bigger but you can do this.

Please send in your registrations in by Jan. 29, 2012. Awards will be ordered on Jan. 29 2012. You can not register on the day.
Entry fee is $40

Train Hard and we will see everyone on Feb. 18, 2012 in Sleepy Eye MN. Snow date is Feb. 25th, 2012.

Dungeon's Gym 2nd Annual Indoor Frostbite Strong Man/Woman Competition is gathering attention of men & women along with the media alike, for our unconventional competitive events, which are a sheer test of one's strength, endurance, and lifting skills. In other words, the Frostbite Strong Man/Woman Competition, does not restrict one to conventional lifts or Olympic events. Instead, one has to perform really crazy events such as lifting a rocks, sacks, tires, pulling trolleys and other weights, the more obscure the event, the better. We hope you will come and compete this Feb.18, 2012.

Everyone goes home with a trophy.

A fun event for the winter blues.

This year two Classes Class A and Class B.
This year Class A will be lighter objects or weights than Class B. If you want a bigger challenge enter Class B. No age or weight classes. We want to see who is the Strong Man or Strong Woman. Send in your entry forms in early. Placings in each class will depend on how many enter. If 5 enter we will place 1st through 5th place.
